New computer research

Darn. Safe to say that old Dolphin can't run it. FTPServ doesn't stand a chance and Mugatroid will be underpowered as it had a hard time with just the website. Good to know this won't come out for a year or so. Give me some time to get a good computer together.

This just isn't fair! I didn't want to buy a new computer, especially not a desktop, for another couple of years, and now I'm going to have to! No, not buying Starcraft 2 is not an option.

Most people hate double negatives yet in your last line you managed to use a triple negative. I'm way too confused for 7:00am.

Oh ya two more things:
1) Murgatroid is old enough that it even had a problem working with the webpage, pinned processor to 100% and needed more. I dread to think what would happen for the actual game.

2) This is Blizzard Entertainment MT! You may still get your wish of not needing to upgrade for a couple of years. Remember Blizzard's timelines:
- StarCraft delayed about 2 years
- Diablo II delayed about 2 years
- WarCraft: Adventures canceled
- StarCraft: Ghost canceled

You can't really say that they are the most timely company. However it also looks like they have been releasing software every other year except with 2006 where there is nothing. Maybe that was the original target?

Man I really hate Blizzard sometimes. I want to go back to bed. It is too early to consider this kind of stuff.

It's ok, it was just a double negative. The "no" doesn't count - it's just an intensifier, or a response to the implied statement, "You know, you don't *have* to buy Starcraft 2."

Re: timelines. Do you think it'll be out in time for us to play at next year's conference?

If it is available for next year's conference I should start scheduling an astral conjunction. I'm sure there are a bunch of other things that should also be scheduled as well. I think that would result in the first time that Blizzard actually introduced a product and released it in under a year.

Aww... Well how about the following year's conference? I'm flexible! (If a tad impatient...)
